Hiofu Partners with BPI to Bring Verified Skills Infrastructure to the Pharmaceutical Sector

LONDON, United Kingdom and BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, 25 August 2026. Hiofu Limited, a capability-first infrastructure platform for the future of hiring, and Barbados Pharmaceutical Inc. (BPI) have signed a strategic partnership to bring verified skills infrastructure to Barbados' emerging pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, with the potential to scale the model across the Caribbean.

Under this partnership, BPI will integrate Hiofu's HSP1 Verified Skills Passport, a portable, evidence-backed record of a candidate’s verified capabilities, into its own recruitment, while building a clearer picture of pharmaceutical, quality, engineering and technical talent across Barbados and the wider Caribbean, including where further workforce development is needed. Rather than relying solely on self-reported qualifications, HSP1 enables prospective employees to demonstrate what they can actually do and integrates directly into existing hiring workflows without requiring employers to replace their current systems.
