BPI works across three execution tracks.
- Build: Delivers manufacturing and sector infrastructure projects.
- Connect: Develops strategic partnerships and technical advisory services across Africa, the EU, and CARICOM.
- Architecture: Structures the financing, commercial strategy, and enabling policy that make a project viable.
Projects are financed through a catalytic model blending government equity, donor co-funding, and development finance capital. The pipeline targets manufacturing capacity for IV fluids, ARVs, diagnostics, and oncology and NCD medicines, alongside the regulatory infrastructure and regional distribution networks that underpin that capacity.
As the pipeline grows, BPI continues to build the core team and operating structure needed for investment promotion, partnership development, project financing, and pharmaceutical sector coordination.
